Terms of Use

Portal Brasileiro is an online directory connecting Brazilian-owned businesses in the United States with the Brazilian community. The platform allows business owners to create free listings and allows users to browse, search, and review local businesses.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

To list a business or submit a review, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately at contato@conectandobrazil.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

Business owners may submit a listing free of charge. All listings are subject to review and approval by our team within approximately 48 hours. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any listing at our sole discretion, including listings that:

• Contain false, misleading, or inaccurate information
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Are offensive, discriminatory, or harmful to the community
• Promote illegal products or services

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information in your listing. By submitting a listing, you confirm that you are authorized to represent the business.

Users may submit reviews of businesses listed on the platform. By submitting a review, you grant Conectando Brazil LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your review on the platform.

You agree that your reviews will:

• Be based on genuine first-hand experience
• Be honest, fair, and not defamatory
• Not contain personal attacks, hate speech, or discriminatory language
• Not be submitted in exchange for payment or other compensation

We reserve the right to remove any review that violates these guidelines without prior notice.

When using Portal Brasileiro, you agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate any person or business
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the platform without our written permission
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
• Post spam, unsolicited advertising, or malicious content
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or reviews

All content on Portal Brasileiro — including the name, logo, design, text, and software — is the property of Conectando Brazil LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

User-submitted content (listings, reviews, photos) remains the property of the respective users, subject to the license granted in Section 5.

The platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as business websites, WhatsApp, Google Maps, or social media profiles). We do not control these third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service.

Portal Brasileiro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any business listing information is accurate, complete, or current
• Results obtained from using the platform will meet your expectations

Your use of the platform is at your sole risk. We are not responsible for any harm arising from transactions or interactions between users and businesses found on the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Conectando Brazil LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months prior to the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Conectando Brazil LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the interests of the platform.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at contato@conectandobrazil.com.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Austin, Texas.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
